I AM: The Power of Discovering Who You Really Are
Open Discussion on the Book Written by Howard Falco

This week we turn to a book suggested by Mr. Darian Johnson. The last few years have demanded many to reassess who and what they are. Many still clearly struggle with even their 30-second elevator speech, power message, TMAY, cocktail line or whatever you desire to call it. Can you do it? Can you distill your very essence into a couple of quick and concise lines? Forget the little spiel. The far deeper issue is that you don’t get the very “I AM” of your existence. And until you do the foundation is weak for any larger life architecture to evolve.
Could you handle a personal epiphany? Are you ready for alternative answers? Howard Falco was the traditional American success profile of an investments broker with the wife and two kids in 2003 and then began to re-evaluate everything in his “ordinary” existence. His personal studies kindled a more intentional pathway of enlightenment. Survival, reorganization, embracing and confronting change are just some of the many issues outlined in “I AM.” Falco offers a rarer perspective and profound sense of gratitude.
Ordinary seems to be a lost option. Are you willing to redefine yourself as “extraordinary?” Howard Falco may be on the right path.
“I AM” Questions:
- What does “a fulfilling reality” mean?
- Balancing “fulfillment” with financial survival? How?
- What “drives and propels you?”
- Is your ego an enemy or an “ally” as Falco states?
- Who determines your “life experience and identity?
- Is your state of mind controllable? By whom?
- Are your emotions a blessing or a curse?
- How are your personal identity and your goals interlinked?
- What is the purpose and benefit of “fear?”
“The issue is not whether the answer to any questions exists, but only a matter of whether or not you are ready to embrace the new way of looking at and experiencing the world that the answer will bring.” – Howard Falco, author of I AM
