Discussion Tuesday Evening 04.19.11 at 7
Are you being sabotaged in ways that you are totally or vaguely blind to? Are there things in your life that require change but you don’t seem to be able to make-it-happen? Do you have a goal but lack a clear map on how to achieve that objective? Do you struggle with clarity in various areas? Do you feel that you are failing to meet your true potential? Do you feel stuck in one or more areas of your life? Are you a high achiever looking to push ever higher?
Kerry Patterson and his team have published a new book that is the compiled result of the studies and stories of thousands of individuals revealing a concise methodology and mindset that will get you unstuck. Hold tight though, this is not a swiggable magic potion to be gulped and to awaken in some personal utopia. This will involve some drastic personal evaluation and truly embracing you becoming a “Changer.” Can you do? No tough area is left uncovered. Career, weight Loss, financial, fitness, addiction, relationships and more are tackled by the authors and support staff of “Change Anything.”
Note: This may not be a “happy” discussion group as the authors and research demands some radical surgical exploration of the psyche’ be done. If you can- listen to the NPR interview between Dick Gordon and Kelly Wiedemer prior to the group. You can find the link at http://wp.me/pYqxo-8l as *Ms. Wiedemer is an excellent example of someone who has totally failed to navigate change and doubtfully will ever get a substantial W-2 again. WORSE: She makes others in the job search community look very bad.
- What’s your list?
- Do you get “hijacked by strong emotions?”
- Have you no “willpower” to just bulldoze through?
- Maybe you are just weak?
- Controlling “control issues”
- How can you embrace what confounds you?
- How can we all get better control over things that “we can’t control?”
- Can you really “invert the economy?” How?
- Who, what “controls your space?”
- Getting unstuck, how?

*After three years of being unemployed from the financial/IT field Ms. Kelly Wiedemer has only five (5) paltry LinkedIn connections even though she was born and raised in the area, no summary, no recommendations, no specialties, no picture, and no membership or affiliation with any networking or job search groups. Her blog and her Facebook page are mere political arguments for why unemployment benefits should have “NO EXPIRATION DATE.” The failure to embrace and manifest change along with a suicidal level of personal brand damage have condemned this person to make it doubtful that any employer will ever want to touch this person. Ms. Wiedemer clearly needs help but not in the way that she thinks.
