  1. Wow, Monte! I didn’t know that about Joseph Campbell. Seems like a really inspiring guy. I wish you the best in 2011 and definitely look forward to helping out where I can.

      Yes! Like the more contemporary “Heroes” Joseph Campbell wonderfully illustrated in his timeless tome “The Hero with the Thousand Faces” that many of the ancient heroes of mythology did not seek out the challenges that were thrust upon. They were ripped from their normal lives and HAD to rise to the occasion to meet the quest that was set before them. Perhaps if some in the job search community could set aside their anger and resentment at the current situation and view it as their own personal Odyssey it would be more palatable. I wonder, “What would Hercules do if he were in a job search?”

      Raise the sails and let the grand quest and sojourn begin!
